Humans argue about anything, fight about whatever they argue about, and hold dear among their many deities quite a few who actively encourage that type of behavior. For simplicity, standard elves become moon elves, standard dwarves become shield dwarves, standard gnomes become rock gnomes, and standard halflings become lightfoot halflings.
